Recruitment Fairs
Search Associates organises several recruitment fairs in different countries around the world every year. These are relaxed and friendly events that bring together selected recruiters and candidates and are organised so that every candidate can have several interviews during the two or three days of the fair.
The recruitment fairs are a very effective means of matching candidates with vacancies and have the added advantages of allowing both recruiters and candidates to learn more about each other in both formal and informal situations. As well as one-on-one interviews each school normally gives a 30-minute presentation about their school and the country in which it is located. Candidates also learn a great deal about the international schools scene (and about individual schools) from each other. All candidates who register with Search Associates are encouraged to attend our recruitment fairs to improve their chances of placement.
David Cope, who heads the British branch of Search Associates, organises our DUBAI fair in early March and our later LONDON fair in early May, so those two fairs are particularly relevant to candidates registering with the British branch.
David also assists with the running of the earlier LONDON fair in February, organised by Harry Deelman, which is almost exclusively for major IB schools and teachers well qualified to work in them.
Candidates registered with the British branch of Search Associates can apply to attend any of the Search Associates fairs listed in the Recruitment Fairs Schedule, bearing in mind that the final decision on candidate numbers / invitations to each fair always rests with the fair organiser.
