General Recruitment Fair Information for SCHOOL RECRUITERS
Search Associates organises several recruitment fairs in different countries around the world every year. The British branch is directly involved in the running of 3 recruitment fairs: London-February, Dubai and London-May, which are held annually.
At each of these three fairs you can expect between 150 and 400 carefully selected candidates to be available for interview.
For full details of the Dubai fair in March and the London fair in May, please contact the organiser of these two fairs, David Cope (). These two fairs are always open to registered schools of all kinds and are attended by a wide variety of candidates.
The London-February Fair is almost exclusively for major IB international schools and IB appropriate candidates. Most of the limited number of school places are filled by prior invitation: please e-mail the fair organiser, Harry Deelman, for full details.
We try to maintain a good ratio of recruiting schools to candidates (normally somewhere between 1:3 and 1:5) and also to match the needs of recruiters to the list of candidates we invite.
As a recruiter, please let us know your vacancies and potential vacancies - and publish them in our schools database - as early as you possibly can. This helps us to encourage the candidates who best fit your needs. Candidates need to know that you are interested and need to be certain that there are vacancies they can try for at the fair.
All three fairs have been arranged so that the essential days for candidates fall over weekends. Recruiters are asked to arrive early on the day before the weekend so that they can have time to go through all the candidate dossiers (including confidential references) before the fair begins. The Dubai and London-May fairs are scheduled to finish late on the final afternoon of the weekend, but if necessary, and subject to the availability of candidates, interviews can also be arranged on either of the days immediately before or after the weekend.
