General Information About The Search Associates London-February Recruitment Fair
The London-February Fair is only for major IB International Schools and candidates who are suitably qualified to work in IB schools. The fair is designed for good teachers who are looking for positions in highly regarded IB international schools. Generally the numbers accepted are limited to about 250 candidates - from all over the world - and a maximum of 65 specifically invited schools.
The schools recruiting at this fair come from a wide variety of locations worldwide; schools from Europe, Middle East, Asia / Pacific, Africa and the Americas are expected. All of the recruiting schools offer at least part of the International Baccalaureate (PYP, MYP and/or DP).
There are normally interview opportunities at the fair for all standard specialisms from Nursery / Primary class teacher (PYP especially) through MYP to IB SL & HL, in just about all subjects. In addition, Principals, Librarians, Counsellors and a number of other specialists are usually in demand at this fair
David Cope is always present at the London-February fair, to assist the fair organiser (Harry Deelman) and advise candidates and schools. The fair is appropriate for British branch candidates whose qualifications and experience can be considered appropriate for teaching in IB schools.
All applications for places at the London-February fair need to be directed to Harry Deelman. Early application for a candidate place is important - best during October or November. Candidates who apply will only be invited to attend the London-February Fair if Harry Deelman considers that they match the needs of the recruiters attending the fair, and so stand a good chance of receiving at least one job offer.
All candidates need to be free to attend on both of the two very full weekend days of meetings and interviews (Saturday and Sunday), and availability for interviews on the Monday of the fair is strongly recommended; candidates should make their travel and accommodation arrangements with this in mind. It is absolutely essential for candidates to arrive early on the morning of the Saturday, which for candidates is the first full day of the fair.
