Search Associates Databases
Search Associates maintains two online databases: a Schools Database and a Candidate Database.
The Schools Database
The Schools Database is a fully searchable, online database which allows Search Associates registered candidates to find out more about the schools with which Search Associates works and in particular about the vacancies these schools are seeking to fill at any given time in the year. Candidates can use the information in this database to contact schools directly and apply for any positions that are of interest to them.
Approved schools, including all the schools which attend Search Associates recruitment fairs, are required to provide Search Associates with a detailed profile which is stored in the Schools Database. Each school profile includes general information about the school, including its hiring policies, its salary / benefits package and other aspects of teacher contracts. In the same profile the school advertises its current vacancies.
Schools are asked to review and if necessary revise the information and vacancy details in their profile frequently and carefully. Each school is responsible for keeping its own entry updated and accurate. The "last update" date at the beginning of each school's vacancies table helps candidates judge for themselves how fresh the vacancies are.
This database is password-protected and can be accessed only by candidates who have successfully completed the registration process and had their username and password activated by their Senior Associate.
Search Associates registered candidates are informed promptly about all vacancies that might be appropriate for them, as all those who are actively seeking a new position receive daily updates, by e-mail, of all the changes made by school recruiters to their vacancy lists in this database.
The Candidate Database
The Candidate Database is a fully searchable online database which contains the online application forms of all candidates who have completed the process of registering with Search Associates and are actively looking for new jobs.
This database is password-protected so that candidate details can only be accessed by recruiters representing the schools that have been approved by Search Associates (ie: the schools that list their information in the Schools Database).
Each candidate has chosen an individual username and password and can use these to access her or his own online application form, as well as our Schools Database as explained above.
