About Search Associates
Search Associates was founded in 1991 by its current Director, John Magagna. Other consultants, known as Senior Associates, have joined the team since then. Each of them heads their own branch of Search Associates and brings to the group a wealth of international school experience at senior management level.
Search Associates currently has fourteen Senior Associates. All help fully qualified candidates to find suitable positions in overseas schools - from classroom level to senior management posts and headships.
Each teacher or senior management candidate chooses to register with ONE Senior Associate only. This enables us to maintain the personal touch on which Search Associates prides itself. The chosen consultant acts as the candidate's sponsor at Search Associates recruitment fairs and gives advice and support throughout the candidate's period of registration, responding to requests for assistance and putting the candidate's name forward for appropriate vacancies.
At the same time every registered candidate benefits from the combined experience of the full Search Associates team and our centralised databases and services. We work closely together and communicate frequently in order to help each other achieve good results for recruiters and candidates. We all work with the same schools worldwide, and we share all information about job vacancies and available candidates.
The British branch of Search Associates works mainly (but not exclusively) with:
- teachers of any nationality who have had some experience of working in the UK or Ireland or in British-system schools overseas, and
- teachers interested in attending the DUBAI recruitment fair in MARCH and/or the LONDON recruitment fair in MAY.
